Without reading the other responses Mike, when Mutil is in a stuck mode, shutdown the server, then run mis poll killbusy if there are semaphores in the
outgoing folders it will kill them. I have had some issues where nothing tosses
in the past, so I keep a file explorer (in my case Thunar) open in the mystic/echomail/in directory open, this way I can see if any files haven't gotten tossed. If there are files there, then I do as I said above, then run mutil mailin.ini and it tosses all of the waiting files.. Hope that helps a little...
I was able to fix it, not by deleting the contents of the /semaphore folder but by deleting
all contents from the /echomail folder. There were some files that would automatically
mark the semaphore folder with a .bsy file even with the server shut down. I really
don't remember what I did to fix it, but that was a good part of it. Perhaps your answer
is what I should have done if it kills the echomail files that are botching things up. I will
try that in the future if necessary.
