I am on a leased server which seems to switch it's time zone to UTC on occasion. That
may be the reason, but sorry it happened :(

I switch it back to EDT when I notice it, but it's probably too late when I see it.

Maybe you can have the server email you on the day before nodelists go
out, and check the timestamp on the email to see what timezone the
server is operating in. Like a "Scheduled Task" in Windows, or a script
ran by a cron job in Linux.

Well, I am receiving them twice, about 5 hours apart, from your system.
That right there is the problem. Should be easy enough to confirm in
your logs that the files were sent out twice. The question is *WHY* are
    they being sent out twice?

As Mike asked, is anyone else seeing this? Please speak up if you are.

Mike, as I said in another message last night (as a reply to somebody
else), is it possible that I am in your nodelist/database twice? I used
to have a different node number...

Looking at the mailer sessions, I believe things are in order - files are coming from 954:11/1, and the times & files look like this:

I see that a lot of packets went out at 4:15 AM. I will try a different approach tomorrow.

What I have been doing is first polling 954:895/1 where the packets are created, then
run the mutil command to import the packets and then running the mis poll forced
    command to send them out.

In the future, I will eliminate that last step since it doesn't seem to eliminate the packets
form the various fileboxes. I don't that will remedy the situation but I will give it a try.

I will also check to see exactly when the packets actually do get eliminated.

Well, the above reference was for Feb 12/13. It happened again the following week (Feb 19/20) which is what was stated right here in this message thread. So.... the 19/20 events should still be visible in the logs, right?

How can I be the only one noticing this?

I think I'm only getting them once.

I can only see one file each week, and since I have nothing unprocessed
in my inbound, I'm assuming I'm only getting it once:

    3412 HEALTH.051 4,383 2026-02-20 05:05:40
    3382 HEALTH.044 4,383 2026-02-13 05:05:32
    3351 HEALTH.037 4,382 2026-02-06 05:06:16
    3325 HEALTH.030 4,382 2026-01-30 05:07:18

Well, that's "HealthNet" so may not be happening there. We've been
talking about "HobbyNet" here in the HobbyNet echo... ;-)

Might be a clue for Mike Dippel though, as to what is different between
    the two networks.

Actually you are right - so I looked in the DB that clrghouz logs incoming files to. As it doesnt "delete" (replace) anything, I know I have a record of everything I've received.

Okay... so disregarding all the typos... We can now confirm two
    things:

    1. I'm not the only one getting duplicate file distributions.

    2. Logs don't lie. The answers are always in the logs.

    Thank you.

For the record, today I only got one copy, so maybe there's hope.

created, and then later the other system retrieved them and sent them
out again. Seems like kind of a strange way to operate, that way.

Node 954:895/1 runs on Winserver and uses iRex to send the packets. It was very hard
to manage so I now use my Mystic system to Hub. When I hatch the files on Winserver.
it automatically adds them to node 1, and node 2 receives them.

I tried hatching the files with the Mystic system, but it was a failure. It wouldn't
automatically add the files to the system, so it couldn't send the files to downlinks.

The only change that I made this time is that I don't try to force the poll after the files
are there. It waits for the systems to poll me.

I can't explain why it suddenly started to duplicate, but hopefully it will work now.
