    Socks are comfortable with sandals.

    I don't mind wearing socks with sandals, but a lot of people say that's a fashion faux pas and looks bad.. I don't see a problem with it though.

    I burned my skin and thats why I was trying to help reduce the odds of
    that.

    Yeah, I've heard that a lot.. but you know, both Steven Tyler and William Shatner wear socks with sandals.. If it's cool enough for them, it's cool enough for me.

    I _am_ entertained by the concept of looking to 78- and 95-year-old men for fashion advice.

    (Though fashion advice from those 70 or older might lead to a bit more disapproval than I'd like, but the idea that people can go, "Eh, my fashion sense being 'bad' is your problem" does sound nice.)
