    Areas affected...portions of Georgia

    Concerning...Tornado Watch 188...

    Valid 070100Z - 070200Z

The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 188 continues.

SUMMARY...A complicated mesoscale environment with widespread
convection will continue to support a severe risk this evening.
Damaging gusts are the most likely hazard, but a couple of tornadoes
    are possible.

DISCUSSION...Across Tornado Watch 188, several clusters of strong to
severe storms are ongoing as of 01 UTC. The northern cluster has
been hampered by earlier outflow and weaker buoyancy. However,
strong vertical shear, and the presence of a few stronger
reflectively cores along and just north of the outflow over northern
AL and northwest GA may support some upscale growth into a loose
line or cluster with time. This could support an isolated risk for
    damaging gusts.

Farther south, a mix of supercells and linear clusters across
eastern AL will eventually move into western and central GA this
evening. While buoyancy is again fairly limited, strong vertical
shear may maintain a few of these stronger storms tonight.
Increasing low-level shear beneath a 30-40 kt low-level jet would
also support a couple of tornadoes with any stronger rotating cells.
Thus, the severe risk is likely to continue over much of WW188.
