    Hi Wilfred.

There seems to be a problem with lowercase areatag. It appears in fconfig, but tossing to the base doesn't work. The JAM base is created with fmail and it can be accessed with golded.

With FConfig it's not possible to create lowername echos, so I think it happens only with autoadding.

    I've looked. ;-)

The 'ftools addnew' function didn't indeed convert the area name to uppercase before adding the new area. This is fixed now in my code (not yet tested and pushed to the git repo).

Furthermore I'm going through the code to make all area name comparisons case independent. So if somehow a lowercase area name ends up in the config, it doesn't matter anymore...

Btw: Did you try changing the area name in fconfig to uppercase, so your current problem is fixed?

Yes, editing the echotag forces all typed letters uppercase.

Also, fmail creates automatically areas.bbs. I can import that with
fconfig, and everything will be uppercase. :)
