  • User not removed when disconnected

    I had a PC crash earlier today and when I restarted and logged back into my BBS, it appears I'm still connected. Since my connection was no more, I would expect to be logged out/connection removed from the BBS

    bbs@bbs:~$ node -vaddr list

    I'm not sure if it's something to do with me being the sysop and having no timeout or something but I wouldn't have thought so. Let me know if you want me to provide any other information.

    Just have to hit a TCP timeout I'm guessing. A little patience. :-)

    Well, I plugged the drive back into the PC, rebooted, brought up mIRC, logged into the BBS with syncterm, loaded my ssh client, connected to the server and then ran node list...so how long should I expect to wait? :smile:

    That said...the login has gone so I guess I needed a little more patience.
