Hey, I tried installing the BBStown command shell in my SBBS system, but it won't work, even though I changed all the \ to / in the TOWN.SRC file, it's still trying to use the \. What language is it written in so I know what to use to make the .BIN file.

okay, i looked at it and it's not worth using.
you can take the ansis and just use the rg shell.

it has outdated commands and it's also busted in a few areas.
it's just not worth editing. there's nothing special about it.

i fixed it up but i'm not releasing an update.

Ok, thanks. I had a kind of city setup on the WWIV system I ran many MANY years ago (Last century even). and was thinking about doing something like that again.

I also had a menu set that was the inside of a nightclub for players of Vampire and Werewolf.

you could do the same just by using the ansis or making your own. it didn't have code where you walk around like lord2. it's just real simple and has a lot of old commands.
